Developing a clearly articulated vision that works in tandem with shared mission, espoused values, and a focus on outcomes serve as the foundation to improvement efforts in any organization, especially schools. Ideally, vision and mission guide the work of the entire school community. When leaders succeed in crafting a shared school vision and mission, educators can take ownership of the work required to achieve high levels of teaching and learning. This 2 hour workshop will prepare leader to define the indicators of sustainable vision and mission, explore related BL resources and strategies, and build a plan for implementation.
I use strengths-based leadership in my practice and evaluate its effectiveness through ongoing reflection and refinement.
