In the cyclical process of assessment for learning, teachers use student-centered formative assessments to measure student learning, provide feedback, and engage students in understanding their own progress. In this in-person workshop, participants will explore practices for incorporating student-centered formative assessments into their teaching, with a focus on how assessment can be used to support student learning and drive instructional decisions. Participants will build a strategic plan to implement these practices in an upcoming lesson, ensuring that assessments are not just a tool for measuring learning, but also for actively promoting it.
