Overview

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework to support educators in designing lesson plans and units that meet a variety of learner needs. Using these principles, educators are able to create instruction with multiple entry points, types of representation, and ways to demonstrate mastery.

By the end of this 1-hour experience, you will be able to:

  • Name the three areas within UDL and give examples of each
  • Explore tools, strategies, and exemplars of UDL
