Problem-based mathematics instruction shifts both teachers’ and students’ roles in learning. When using a problem-based curriculum, teachers must understand those shifts and the key characteristics of how the curriculum makes this learning possible. In this 2-hour virtual introduction, teachers will experience problem-based learning from the teacher and student perspective in order to learn about these key characteristics.
