The Odell High School Literacy Program offers many opportunities for monitoring and assessing student development. In this workshop, we will begin by defining key principles for assessing literacy at the high school level. Participants will explore what tools the program offers to monitor student development both toward and in each unit’s culminating task, as well as what good feedback looks like. They will then build a plan for monitoring student progress in an upcoming unit.
