Overview

In problem-based instruction, teachers are critical to connecting student learning with instructional goals through intentional listening, questioning, and facilitation. IM 6-12 Math gives teachers support and guidance in this role. In this workshop, participants will build an understanding of problem-based math instruction and the key characteristics of this curriculum that make this approach possible for their students and have the most positive impact on their learning.

• Build an understanding of the learning progression of multiple lessons in Unit 1
