A classroom community where students embrace challenges, learn from each other, and actively participate in mathematical discourse is essential for successful problem-based math instruction. To cultivate this culture, teachers must intentionally implement strategies that prioritize collaboration and productive struggle while also employing efficient classroom management techniques. In this workshop, participants will explore these strategies and develop a plan for building a strong problem-based learning community in their own classrooms.
