Student learning is tied directly to students’ sense of safety, belonging, and respect in their classroom environment. As educators, cultivating this student-centered environment takes patience, deliberate steps, and a knowledge of how students think and feel. In this workshop, participants will define what “classroom culture” really means by unpacking its major components to can build and refine classrooms for all students to thrive.
This experience is optimized for classroom teachers K-12, as well as paraprofessionals. With modifications, it can be done for instructional leaders as well.
