Launch the Bookworms curriculum at your district with an in-person experience that’s designed to provide an introduction to the curriculum and support all educators to take ownership in a successful launch. Teachers, instructional leaders, and building leaders will work together to develop a foundational understanding of the curriculum and begin making a plan for bringing new instruction practices into the classroom.
Teachers work with a coach who has experience with Bookworms to plan lessons, practice new strategies, and learn how to measure the impact for students. Instructional coaches use the Try-Measure-Learn method to offer educators personalized support as they work towards specific outcomes in the classroom.
Know what success looks like in the classroom, how to support teachers to achieve outcomes, and build your ongoing professional learning plan for continuous improvement. Learning Walks are a non-evaluative tool that helps instructional leaders identify and celebrate new student-centered literacy teaching practices.
