Overview

Self-management is a competency that students at every level of schooling and ability must practice over the course of their development. In this course, you will develop a deep understanding of self-management by exploring the role teachers can play in helping students learn self-management.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Define self-management and develop a deeper understanding with examples of this social-emotional competency.
  • Explain some self-management strategies and techniques.
  • Identify one strategy or technique to try with your students to help develop their self-management skills.
