Overview
Research has shown that one effective way to fill instructional gaps while also increasing achievement is to provide students with consistent exposure to and practice with grade-level text. In this workshop, participants will unpack the connection between consistent access to grade-level text and reading and literacy achievement. They will then explore research-based strategies and scaffolds for supporting students reading below grade level with accessing grade-level text and build a plan for consistently implementing one strategy in their classrooms.
Specifications

- Participants will need a computer with access to Zoom, a camera, a microphone, and stable Internet connectivity
