In this workshop, participants will define authentic writing in different genres (e.g., narrative, persuasive, etc) and how it can be supported by reading, speaking, and listening. They will explore student-centered strategies that promote student engagement and autonomy in the writing process. Participants will utilize these student-centered strategies to build an authentic writing plan that aligns with current or upcoming unit work.
