Overview
All students learn math through and with language. Improving the quality of communication in student thinking is essential for deeper understanding and development of both mathematical ideas and language skills. In this 2-hour virtual workshop, we will delve into routines and planning processes that optimize students’ expression of their mathematical ideas, in speaking and writing.

I create an environment that encourages students to communicate their mathematical thinking with each other.

- Participants will need a computer with access to Zoom, a camera, a microphone, and stable Internet connectivity
