In this launch workshop, educators will build their awareness and understanding of the Odell High School Literacy Program Curriculum. They will understand the design principles and key shifts this curriculum requires teachers to make. They will spend time exploring the structure of the units, sections, lessons, and assessments, as well as the different types of questions that are essential to the curriculum. They will wrap up the session by planning an upcoming lesson. This workshop is Part 2 of a 2-part launch series.

• Session B: Making Learning Meaningful: Odell Education Curriculum

• Participants will need a computer with access to Zoom, a camera, a microphone, and stable Internet connectivity

• Build a plan to launch the Foundation Unit for a grade level.
