Overview

This course is part of our course series on some of the more common categories through which students can be eligible for special education services. In this course, you will build an understanding of the Other Health Impairments (OHI) eligibility area, an open-ended category that includes asthma, ADHD, diabetes, epilepsy, and many other chronic or acute health conditions. This course is intended for general education teachers and special education teachers who may work with students eligible for special education under OHI. While this is part of the IDEA Eligibilities course series, it is not necessary to have taken other courses in the series to benefit from this one.
