After building an understanding of the components of ALL Block, participants are ready to apply what they have learned to strategically plan to support the needs of their students. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on implementation and learn from each other around successes and challenges.  During this workshop, participants will have time to explore task cards and develop resources to support differentiation.  An instructional coach will introduce participants to strategic planning as a process, which can be replicated, and collaborate to solve common challenges.


Because we will be digging into data and leveraging experience, this workshop is designed for educators who have taught Module #1, given the assessments and who have implemented ALL Block.


  • 6-7 hours
  • Access to ALL Block materials (print or digital)
  • Space for participants to move as we will be modeling ALL Block and need room for posters


  • Using Data: Teachers use data and student work products to inform instructional decisions and group students for differentiation
  • Meeting the Needs of All Learners: Teachers plan strategically to meet the needs of all learners using curriculum resources and supports
  • Strategic Planning: Teachers understand the purpose of the curriculum components and practices and use them in both internalizing units and daily lesson planning to support student success
  • Resources, Templates and Videos: Teachers know where to find and how to use EL Curriculum resources, BetterLesson support documents and can leverage video to improve instruction

Participants will understand the components of ALL Block and apply what they have experienced to support differentiating task cards and supporting students needs.
