Overview

This course supports you to build awareness of how the OUR 6-8 and IM 6-12 problem-based math curriculums are designed to engage English Language Learners in meaningful, grade-level mathematics and how you can plan through a lens focused on accessing mathematics through language.

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Identify the best practices and strategies for mathematics instruction with English Learners
  • Intentionally plan to integrate or utilize existing supports for English Learners in an upcoming lesson.
