Overview

Multilingual learners need support in vocabulary development, building background knowledge, language practice, and writing. Strategies must go beyond sentence frames and word walls to get students to an advanced level of language development. In this virtual workshop, participants will review students’ language levels and skills at each level and examine how to implement strategies matching those levels.

• 3 hours In-Person, or 2 hours Virtual
• Participants will need a computer with access to Zoom, a camera, a microphone, and stable Internet connectivity
