#### Assessment

*70 min*

Students will have the entire 90 minute class period to complete the Test Sequences and Series. This is designed to assess:

- Conceptual understanding of sequences vs. series
- Conceptual understanding of arithmetic patterns vs. geometric patterns
- Fluency in using the arithmetic sequence and series formulas
- Fluency in using the geometric sequence and series formulas
- Ability to apply the formulas to solve problems
- Ability to derive the geometric series formula

In the reflection, Assessing Understanding of Sequences and Series, I reflect on my favorite question from this assessment.
