## Objective: SWBAT solve equations that require collecting like terms

#### Warm-up

Each day, students complete a warm-up that usually consists of spiraling the previous day's material, in addition to older material. Warm-up problems also sometimes extend lessons that students have encountered before to more unfamiliar contexts.

Today's warm-up pushes students to distribute a fractional coefficient through parentheses, which I want students to be automatic at. I push this bit by bit, consistently - rather than all in one huge lesson -- to ensure that students develop comfort gradually, and with repeated exposure and different uses.
