I did this in my Algebra class today as a review of our unit on linear and absolute value functions. It was awesome! The kids seemed to enjoy it and I heard so many great conversations.

One really cool thing was that students were estimating slope just by looking at the design ("this line looks like it has a slope of 5"). That estimation piece seems to be missing in most textbooks.
