Reflection: Student Ownership Cliches - Section 4: Sharing our Cliches


Coming up with a cliche to present and elaborating on its meaning is very abstract.  Students needed guidance at first.  I direct students to sources on website and reminded them of the examples given in the beginning of this lesson.  At the conclusion of this lesson, students were able to give examples of cliches and elaborate on their meaning and imagery most likely because we started with concrete examples, as evident in their presentation:  Time Will Tell Cliche Presentation
