Reflection: Complex Tasks Revise and Revisit Cowboys in the Wild West - Section 3: Partner Work

I find that many ELL students struggle with subject and verb agreement. I actually practice this with my students as they write ans correct them as they go. But, I pay particular attention to my ELL students concerning subject and verb agreement. With a great deal of practice in writing they learn the correct way to word their sentences.

Another thing that I noticed in this lesson is that the students found it helpful to mark out sentences as they were writing. This helped them keep track of what sentences they had written.
