Reflection: Vocabulary Review/ Written & Oral Math Language - Section 2: Whole Group Interaction

I can already hear them complaining that it's too much writing and their hand hurts, but just go slow and keep encouraging them.  If you feel some of the vocabulary is more important for your kiddos than others, then eliminate some of the statements.

This was what I thought would happen before I completed this lesson and had originally written this statement in my Group Interaction Instructions.  It was such a surprise to see them completely engaged during this lesson and not complaining about the writing.  Every year your class will take on a different atmosphere and overall personality with the combination of little people working together.  More times than not, I have had groups that hate extensive writing, but this class seems to be different and I am really appreciating it.
