Reflection: Routines and Procedures Tarzan: The Movie - Section 2: Tarzan the Movie


I used to think that I didn't have time for "parties" in my classroom.  I found that the students were very motivated to work toward one though.  So the "parties" in my room always have something to do with our curriculum.  The students love it because they feel they have earned a special reward, and I love it because we can use the "parties" or activities to enhance their learning.  (Don't tell the kids my little secret.  ;) )

Unit 16: Tarzan!
Lesson 2 of 7

Objective: SWBAT critique the movie "Tarzan" as they take notes in order to compare and contrast this version of the story with the storybook and drama versions of the story.

Big Idea: Students will critique the movie "Tarzan!" They will take notes as we view the movie in order to compare and contrast this movie version with the book and play versions of the story in our upcoming lessons.
