Reflection: Student Ownership Question Creation - Section 2: Problem Solving and Critical Thinking

You can hear my reflection on this lesson below. Structuring group work for this lesson was crucial to the success of the lesson and groups' success.  The structure helped keep groups on track, focused, and ready to share. I will definitely use this strategy again for other group projects.

Question Creation

Unit 10: Measurment
Lesson 13 of 13

Objective: SWBAT create and answer questions when given mathematical information to deepen reasoning and thinking skills.

Big Idea: In this lesson, students work in groups to create questions and increase their reasoning skills. Students practice discussing HOW to find an answer rather than emphasizing the answer.
