Reflection: Routines and Procedures Using the Pictures to Describe the Character - Section 3: Guided Practice

There are a lot of ways to chose Partner A and Partner B.  My students sit in shared desks, two to a desk.  Everyday I have a Helper of the Day, who runs errands, passes out paper, etc.  This is always the first reader.  Whatever side of the desk he/she sits on, then all the students on that side of the desk are the first readers for the day.  That way the same set of students are not always the first reader, and I do not have to remember today this group, tomorrow that group.
