Reflection: Accountability Michelle Kwan: Describing How Details Support the Main Idea - Section 3: Guided Practice

This worked super well! To get scholars' thinking off in the right direction, have them first identify if the supporting detail tells the who, what, when, where, why or how of the main idea.  Then, they practice constructing the written response.

Also, make sure that the scholar not writing on the dry erase board also writes his or her response on a piece of paper.
