Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Gathering Around the Fire: An Introduction to Native American Folktales Day 1 of 5 - Section 6: Celebrate Today's Learning!

The students really enjoyed all of the interactive activities and technology.  They are hooked and right where I want them for day two.  I'm going to be sure to review The Rough-Face Girlvocabulary before we read tomorrow, as the students found this vocabulary challenging.  I could also tell that my tribe will need lots of practicing with the recounting/retelling ropes.  I'll use the ropes for any piece of literature that we are studying this week and many after.
