Reflection: Student Feedback Suffixes: -er, -ly - Section 4: Closure


Students were playing affix games, but I wanted them to recognize that they were learning. This was evident in the attached Ticket Out the Door. The student stated what she learned and why she liked the game. Actually, most students liked the soccer game and spent a great deal of time on it. I was okay with that because they were presented with a variety of questions and were engaged the entire time. The level of fun was measurable by the amount of cheering when they made a goal. The Ticket Out also gave me feedback on the types of activities they liked so that I could find similar ones in the future.
