Reflection: Real World Applications The Power of Words - How do you use them? - Section 1: Warm Up

At my school we have Advisor/Advisee time each morning.  During this time we cover many topics. Bullying is one of those topics.

However, bullying is a very personal topic for me as I was bullied in school as a child.  This of course was before bullying was a public concern.  As a person who remembers how words can hurt, I look for every opportunity to teach my students to use words in a positive way.

It is because of his positive use of media and information that I am a huge Kid President fan.  If you haven't check out his Soul Pancake videos, you really should. He can be a wonderful addition to class or an A&A group.
