## Reflection: Lesson Planning Halloween Count - Section 2: Mini-Lesson

Coloring might seem like a waste of time, but in Kindergarten my students really need help with fine motor skills. Many students come without any preschool background, and are unable to grip a pencil or crayon properly. Coloring strengthens these skills using crayon grip, and coloring within the lines.
