Reflection: Flexibility Writing Mysteries - Harris Burdick Style! - Section 4: Independent Project

Some of the kids had a hard time narrowing their decision down to one picture. So in the end I conceded and allowed some of the students the choice of writing about more than one picture or combining pictures into their stories. The pictures in this book really are fascinating. They are very detailed and awe-inspiring. I can't blame the kids for being excited and not being able to choose.
