Reflection: Lesson Planning Count and Draw - Section 2: Mini-Lesson


As I was reflecting on this lesson, I thought of something small I would add in. When students were drawing pictures on the white boards to correlate with the number I had given, I wish I would have also told students to write the number on their white board with the pictures. Any time I can squeeze in letter formation, I should try!

Big Idea: Kindergartners love to draw pictures. In this lesson, children's drawings are incorporated into a math activity.
