Reflection: Joy Procedural Text: Science Experiment - Section 2: Creating Science Procedures


I try to encourage my students to be creative and think outside the box. I was pleased when One student anxiously discussed one experiment she wanted to write about from Science Class that required a paper clip and a string, entitled How to Make a Paper Clip Float.  She asked if she could use those items and attach them to her writing in order to clarify directions.  Don't be surprised if this type of enthusiasm and creativity arises in your class when you teach this lesson!
