## Reflection: Parent Communication Snowman Sequence - Section 3: Independent Practice

If at all possible, I like to include an example of student work for each area on the report card. In this particular lesson, the strand on the report card is: Sequences numbers 0-10. Rather than just check off a "yes" or "no", I like to provide an example of student work to back it up. This is particularly helpful if the student is unable to perform the task. It makes it hard for a parent to disagree with my decision to mark "no", if I have their student's work right in front of them. It takes more time to gather these materials, but I have found it pays off!
