Reflection: Flexibility Biographies: Bio Cubes Research Project Continued - Section 3: Bio Cube Research Project

Flexibility is the key to teaching.  My original goal was to complete this project from start to finish in a day.  We are now looking at three days from start to finish.  I would much rather slow down and have the students do their best work, than to rush through it and have the whole activity be a flop.  It is so important to be flexible about time. On the reverse side, I always try to have a high quality activity on hand for times when a project or lesson go much quicker than anticipated.

I was worried about the Santa Claus research project and kept a close eye on that student hoping the information researched would be ok.  It turned out great!  I included it here so you could see.
