Reflection: Student Grouping "Can I Get Some Clarification Please?" Clarifying What we Read - Section 4: Independent Practice


As we are working on a particular skill, standard, or concept, I try to group students according to similar needs and learning styles. Within these groups I typically have students practice the skill in context using a text that is on their instructional level. I try to incorporate activities that appeal to students learning styles and allow me to either work with them in a guided group scaffolding skills or allow students to work independently within a group. I try to differentiate activities to meet the needs of all of the students within the classroom.
