Reflection: Checks for Understanding Context Clues Review - Section 1: Activator


The entire standard, L.9-10.4a, includes a more in depth skill set than possibly this context clues lesson plan by itself provides.  My lesson, however, does provide excellent practice for determining word meanings through context clues and gives students an effective method to remember the ways in which they can define an unfamiliar word using context clues.
