Reflection: Self-Talk Revolutionary War Era Research on Historical Figure - Section 3: Presentations


The word research can conjur unpleasant thoughts for some students.  I enjoy our visits to the library to let them search for topics, uncover new information, and use the internet.  The kids collaborate and spend this "in school" portion of their research to develop their ideas while feeling a little social at the same time.  Although libraries aren't loud environments, they're not the silent institutions they once were- and the library is such an important resource!
