Reflection: Intrinsic Motivation Fishbowl Discussion Preparation - Section 3: Prepare for Fishbowl in Groups


The students met the goal of this lesson, which was to engage in the preparation of their ideas for participation in leading the fishbowl discussion.  This is an exciting book and unit to be teaching, and the speech activity gives the students many opportunities to lead.  Together, they shape the direction of the activity over several days, and they get to talk about issues that are substantial to them.
