Reflection: Student Grouping Winter Holidays: Pulling it all Together - Section 3: Interview

I chose to pre-assign partners for this activity. Because I wanted to include several parts to the lesson, I tried to streamline each part as much as possible. Although I’m always a proponent for student choice, sometimes giving students full choice isn’t the most time efficient. By choosing partnerships for students, I avoided the time involved with not only finding a partner, but then making sure that each member of a group was partners with someone of a different holiday group.
