Reflection: Positive Reinforcement Getting Stronger with Word Problems - Section 1: Warm-Up

It is important to allow students to be part of the teaching and learning process. Instead of the teacher creating problems for students to solve each day and presenting these problems to students, I encourage them to create problems to show what they know.

When I video my students explaining their work, and play it back to the class, it gives them a sense of pride in their work and creates a classroom culture where they want to produce excellent work to be shared with their peers.
