Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Titanic Week! Bon Voyage! Day One - Section 4: Main Idea and Supporting Details with Informational Magazine

I find it very helpful to use graphic organizers with my students, especially when learning a new skill.  This lesson lends itself very easily to using a graphic organizer, as students follow a flow-chart style to record a main idea and supporting details.  Graphic organizers have been identified as a best practice and I try to use them whenever I can!
