Reflection: Student Feedback Applying Compare and Contrast - Section 2: Setting a Purpose

While students were sharing with their partners, I walked the room to listen in. I really was impressed with the structures they chose to organize their work! I saw some Venn diagrams, charts, paragraphs, and even a tree! I mean - come on! How creative is that? I loved it and had to share it with the entire class and with you. Of course, the tree was complete creativity on one extraordinary student’s part and none of mine. But it appeared as if my intentional incorporation of a variety of structures was paying off.  It is so rewarding when lessons you teach in class show true transfer to students’ work!
