Reflection: Discourse and Questioning Board Game Project: Introduction and Planning - Section 2: Any Questions? Open Forum for Clarification on Literature Circles


Students don't always know what to ask, let alone how to ask. I try to keep an "open" forum for the students, allowing them to build off of each others questions and ideas. Today is a perfect example, as students in one class took the opportunity to build off of each others' inquiry, asking clarification questions about one role, based on my answers for another role. This gave students the chance to hear the difference between the assignments.
