Reflection: Checks for Understanding "Setting A Purpose to Read" Asking Questions While Reading - Section 3: Follow Up

I used students' responses to determine which direction to go in with the next lesson which will be a continuation of this lesson. Tomorrow's lesson will focus on Setting a Purpose to read to answer the questions they generated in this lesson. I'm hoping that continuing the focus on setting a purpose to read will get students in the habit of actively reading for a purpose and to naturally make connections while they read.
