Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Thanksgiving Play - Section 3: Partner Work

I could not understand what the student meant when she said he could not write with a rope or pole. I then realized in the student reflection that she misunderstood the usage of the word draw.  It meant to pull but she thought it meant write.  So, I had to explain this as she presented her work.  I wish I had known that she was not understanding as we read.  In the future I will teach the multiple meanings of this word as we approach it in the text.
