Reflection: Intervention and Extension Let's learn together - Section 5: Writing


Although I hadn't originally planned to do this, I ended up doing a common graphic organizer with the group I had pulled for reading support. They seemed to be having a harder than expected time with the selection and so we worked together on the graphic organizer, compiling the ideas they had gotten from the group reading and the parts we had read in the small group. I was glad I decided to do this because they were then able to write a simple paragraphs by themselves. Although it took time from the rest of the group, I felt it had been well spent, when I saw them writing.
