Reflection: Student Ownership Discovering Relationships: Multiplication & Division (2 of 2) - Section 2: Practice


After watching the video of this student I realized she said 'the commutative property of division' which I didn't catch at the time.

I realize that I never communicated to students that although the commutative property works in multiplication, it doesn't work in division. I will clarify this and ensure I address any misconceptions tomorrow before proceeding.
